Hello, I have this customer with a 6240 and for a client they are going to be doing a big job as listed in the title. The customer wants to be able to keep track of how many copies,scans,color,bk ect. What would be the best way for them to keep track? I was thinking to set up the user control and create a user number for that client and their job.What do you think? I was reading about job control and it sounded promising but the operators manual tells next to nothing about it. Maybe there is a easier way I do not know about.

ftp://kb:kb@ftp.lesolsoncompany.com/...onmx-color.pdf It is hard to explain so go to this web site and it will show you how to set up authentication mode for each user. I am not sure if it keeps track of scanning for each user, as most of my clients just charge for copies and prints used.
