We have a client that is having occasional print issues with an MX-M1054N.
This client takes pre-printed forms and customizes/personalizes them before mailing, so the forms have different names and addresses. They print using Mac servers and PostScript.
Sometimes they will get garbled text on some prints in the middle of a run (many jobs are more than 10,000 pages). They would like the copier to stop and either print a warning or display a warning, so their employees can see what records were corrupted. What is happening now, is they do not catch the errors and either garbled letters are being mailed or duplicate letters are being mailed (which means duplicate postage as well).
If we enable the "Notice page printing", would that stop the print job when it garbles things?
This company also uses many HP printers, and they say that those stop and print a notice and they would like the Sharp to do the same.
Thanks.
