    MX-3570 touch doesnt work/works extremely slow

    Yesterday, we had a MX-3570 where the touchscreen didnt work anymore...or sometimes it did! But the response was extremely slow when it worked...

    FW was updated to the 7.60

    When tested with VNC, same problem.

    MSATA was replaced to no avail.

    We were thinking MFP board...

    Today however...everything works fine again!

    I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before.

      Not on this series but on others where the connectors to the display needed to be reseated.

          Check the connector on the bottom of the LVDS PWB. This has given me problems more than once with symptoms such as that.
          The Moose is loose!!

                  Job log could be it. If the machine has been around a while mostly before firmware 6.00 I'd say replace the msata ssd. Sharp forgot to enable trim on the ssd so they basically kill themselves with extra write operations wearing the ssd out. Fixed several like this.
