    If I remember correctly, the "SMTP Connection Test" only reaches out and makes sure it can contact the SMTP server itself. I don't think it does any login authentication.... just tests for connectivity.

    Most models ? Do you know what models and if there is a a patch coming ? A local dealer is advertising big on radio that old printers are a no good and a security threat to offices.Anyone got any input?Thanks Dave

    Microsoft Office 365 will discontinue TLS v1.0 support. Sharp is addressing this by adding TLS v1.2 support on most models.

    I think there was an issue with Office 365 and SMTP scans going straight into the junk mail box.

    In the reply e-mail box in the web page settings for the MFP put it in "<>" EG : copier@hotmail.com change to <copier@hotmail.com>.

    Supposedly fixes problem.
