hi
bought new and delivered sharp photocopier . I expected it comes in sealed boxes

but it comes as the attached photo . just wrapped with cling film

seems it is refurblished

how to tell it is new machine ?

What model is it? Check the counters in service more, or check for any dust around the paper trays and dust catcher.

Look at serial # tag. It will have month and year of manufacture. Run a 22-6 and check meters.

Definitely, new! Product introductory date April 2018.

The reseller saved you the aggravation of trying to assemble a product you likely know little about how to do.

Printed copier set up guides often no longer come in the box and when they do the pictures can be small and hard to interpret.

Yes,they dont come ready to copy straight out of the box. Also saved you having to throw out big cardboard boxes and a bunch of styrofoam.The machine needs to be assembled, supplies put in, calibrations ect before it is ready to make copies.

We deliver ours in similar fashion, they need to be built and tested before delivery. Plus building all on site would add far more time and hassle when we can build and test and fix any issues before delivery then time on site is limited and allow us to deliver a working machine.
