The MX-M365 that I'm dealing with had an error code of F2-64 yesterday. After replacing the developer, which was too old and had been reset but not replaced, it worked fine. Then this morning the prints were so light that pages were unreadable. I checked the dev unit, the density sensor etc. and things looked fine, I did a 46-24 and then printed and it works great. I looked at the history of this machine and it seems to have happened before but without an error code. Something is malfunctioning intermittently but I can't find any faults. Any ideas so I can be prepared when the call comes in again?

Re: MX-M365N F2-64 then super light prints, then it's fine
I had one that would run fine and intermittently it would start printing light. Wait for awhile and it would straighten up.
I backed up the settings on the copier and ran sim 67-17 to reset to factory settings.
I then pushed the settings I had backed up into the copier.
Haven't been back since. -

Re: MX-M365N F2-64 then super light prints, then it's fine
I would suggest checking to make sure firmware is up to date. Then check to make sure your density sensor in the transfer unit is clean. I am attaching a bulletin for reference. I have had to replace the density sensors on all the ORION series machines randomly so that might be your issue as well. Run 44-2 and then 46-74 after cleaning the sensor. The other thing I would say is that its possible you have an issue with the clutch that drives the toner hopper in the main drive unit. this is a known issue and was chanced from a spring clutch to a torque limited clutch due to failures. Hope this helpsAttached FilesComment

Had A 465 do this with no error code. ended up being mfp pwb. I started with lsu , then lsu pwb.Comment
