Sharp MX-C402SC wont restart after going into energy save. The light blinks like normal but when we go to restart with the power save button the blinking light goes out and nothing happens. We have replaced the MFP operation PWB but that did not make any difference. When we reboot everything comes back up to normal until it goes into power save again. Not sure where to go next.

Re: Sharp MX-C402SC wont restart after going into energy save
First, make sure the power save and auto power shut off times are different, as that can cause issues. Second, does it wake up when a print job is sent to it? We had a similar problem on a MX-B401 a while back, and after disabling WSD and mDNS in the Security Settings > Port Control, it never had another problem -
Re: Sharp MX-C402SC wont restart after going into energy save
Sorry I did not include this info, but the first thing I tried was the power save and auto power shut off times, The Board was the power switch board from under the operation panel from a Parts machine, and I have not tried the HDD drive yet or the mfp board.Comment

Re: Sharp MX-C402SC wont restart after going into energy save
May or may not help, but firmware. Get the latest firmware and flash it even if he machine is up to date. This has helped more times then I can believe, even on machines that already had the latest firmware.Comment
