How to reset sims back to Factory default

I am trying to reset sims to factory default. I was told to change the market area to another market, exit sim, reenter and set back to USA. This did not work. I tried restore system settings in the service webpage,did not work. I am on a 6240 by the way.

Do you mean all back to factory defaults?
Log in as admin, then Settings, Security Settings, Initialize Private Data/Data In Machine.
Takes about an hour. Good for a quick nap.
