    Scan to Email with Office365

    Greetings fellow techs!

I am having an issue with scanning to email on a Sharp MX-2600. The issue is that when the customer scans it leaves the copier as it should (customer mentioned it saying SEND OK) but it does not show up in their inbox. I tried doing the bracket fix ( <test@email.com> ) to no avail. I honestly think that the issue is on their end but they do not want to hear it. Must be the copiers fault? HA! Well that is the issue, if anyone has had a fix for this that would be greatly appreciated.

Per the Sharp Tech Bulletin, for Office 365, make sure to fill out the fields for Default Sender Set. The Sender Name can be anything, but the Reply E-mail Address MUST match the email used in the SMTP settings.

You can find the Default Sender Set settings via the web page at System Settings->Image Send Settings->Scan Setting. It's the first thing on the page.

    Hope this solves the issue.

      try this:

Security Settings - SSL settings - encryption level - set to high

But settings in post above must be correct!

Have had two account that use Office 365 now with about a 5 minute delay in getting emails. Scan to Gmail works within 30 seconds. Guessing Office 365 is doing some additional virus scanning.

Does it scan to other emails? Non office 365?

Could be firewall related...had one client with the same problem.

Turned out to be the DNSproxy on the Watchguard.

Once we turned that off, scans came in right away.
