    LC-11 on MX-4111 problem

I must be losing it because I thought I posted this yesterday.

We have an MX-4111 that a customer moved. They did not connect it tight enough and it was not recognizing the LCC.
I tightened the connector and it sees it now. However when feeding from LCC it will feed on then the second in multiple quantities will show cleaning transfer belt then feed another. Occasionally it will feed two in a row but not reliably. It doesn't jam so I am assuming the retry mode it pushing it enough to prevent jams. Note all other trays are feeding well. I hate LCCs and see no adjustment in installation guide for this issue. LCC seems to be correct height. I'm sure there must be an adjustment but not sure where. any help is appreciated Thanks

I think I saw some adjustments in the installation manual (Mainly with the latches and leveling). Maybe the floor isn't level and is causing jamming in the new location?

If cleaning or replacing parts does not work, use sim 51-2 the value for W.

If you increase this number it will increase the feed timing for the LCC to get the paper to the registration rollers.

I would also replace the two feed clutches as well. They are known to cause feeding issues if they are slipping even a little.

            Good luck!

Wouldn't it be 51-2 Y will try this before clutches thanks for the input.

Going to try the paper warp adjustment first. since retry is working it may just be a little short. I want to rant a bit about why manufacturers have different names for the same part like sync clutch vs registration clutch vs stop clutch, This one has paper warp adjustment when I was looking for paper buckle adjustment good grief. Sharp cant even call the part the same name from the sevice manual to the Parts Manual. Thanks again for the input
