Colors way off MX-4141N and no Cyan at all

I have a 4141 that when I select single color cyan I get a blank page. The drums are only a couple months old. Any ideas?

These machines are notorious for pulling developer. Refill, calibrate, and it should be good to go. This should have already been done, but be sure the LSU glass is cleaned with the wand.

      Good luck!

It turned out to be the laser shutter is not opening. I will replace it tomorrow. I looked up the price of the developer and was shocked $500?

Up until recently with the brand new 51 and 71 series color machines, Sharp really didn't offer color developer packets individually. You had to buy the kit, which includes all three color developers: yellow, magenta, cyan. That's why they are so expensive.

If its the shutters just take them out. They have been eliminated.

              You shouldnt take these out...

Just clean the solenoid located behind the LSU-unit which operates the shutters and fix the problem instead

MFP-TB-1142R is the bulletin that says to remove them as they are not necessary.

We tried that in the past, better to leave them on and fix the problem...just saying...
