    MX-2614n, stranger things

Hi, first excuse my very bad english.
I have a custumer with 12 Sharp copiers, but in one mx-2614, when i send to print 2 copies of a one page document(pdf,word...), printer print 4, if i want 3, printer prints 6...
Today customer calls me and say that the same problem in a new mx-c301, installed 1 mounth ago.
Driver and firmware are the last, the printers are installed in local mode.
I think is a network problem, but must give a technical reason to my customer.

    Any idea?. Thanks in advance.

It double the pages when you print a document. Is the second document had the same image as the first? Did it do the same in Copying?

What OS-are the users are using? I think MX-2614 supported up to windows 8 64bit. Correct me if I'm wrong, you said it is connected in local mode, is it connected to a single PC and shared locally?

Does this happen from all applications?

Printing a PDF and a Word doc......both will print two?

They use windows 10 pro x64, printer is installed in a lot of computers and not shared, whith the same driver, and mx-2614 support w10, like mx-c301mx,whith the same problem.

are the number of pages always constant...for example you print 1 document containing 1 page and you always get 3. or a doc with 2 pages and you get 6.....I would check to make sure they are using 1) the PCL driver 2) not using WSD printer 3)that the network isnt dropping any packets to the printer or from the pc you are printing from. I have seen wierd issues using the universal driver. I have seen the WSD driver cause wierd issues and usually disable it. Lastly I have observed jobs restart on their own when the network is dropping packets because windows keeps trying to finish a job. Check the firmware as well.

Has this machine been in the field for a while and working? Was the machine cloned from another series of machine?
