Sharp Mxm365 slow to copy

We have a Sharp mxm365 that is acting strange. It will make a copy but after pressing the start button It takes about 2 to 2 1/2 minutes before it will print out, once it scans the copy it is fairly quick to print. I can get into the sim modes but when I try to go into settings I get a please wait screen. We have replaced the SD Card with no effect. It has the latest firmware. Touch screen works fine. It will not print out any reports in the sim modes. We took a loaner to the customer and now have the machine in the shop. We are thinking hard drive but when we run the read/write tests in the sims it comes back ok. Any help is appreciated.

I have seen the Sharps get "sluggish" when "Job Log" is full. Try clearing the Job Log

Your's seems extreme, I would try swapping HDD

We swapped the HDD and that solved the problem.
