    MX 3110 wont print after windows upgrade

    I have a customer that is upgrading their windows 10 OS to version 1803 & 1809 after the upgrade the computers will no longer print to the MX-3110 I checked firmware upgrades and there is nothing new I Called Sharp and they haven't been hearing about and similar issues.

    Any input is appreciated

      What have you tried so far?

      Are there any jobs stuck in the spool. Is adobe up to date.

          Can you ping machine?

          Can you pull up the machine web page?

              The customer is a long way from us and I just got the call from their IT. He said machines that havent been upgraded still print. And yes they can ping and log onto webpage I had them check for IP Conflict but there is not any other devices with the same Address.

                  From one of the upgraded computers have them login the web interface and do a test print from there. If it prints it is a driver issue.

                      I have no printing issues with ver 1809. Download and install driver again. Do not use Windows pre installed driver. Do not also use WSD as this cause a lot of problems.

                          If able .....

                          have their IT check to see if affected machines are printing to IP port or WSD. Definitely use IP

                              If you can, get their IT to log into the web manager and check the job log. If the job isn't being received, get them to re-install the driver on a new print queue.

                              If it was received but not printed, make sure that authentication is set correctly.
