    Android and Chromebook printing

    Hi guys,

I want to know what makes a printer discoverable from Androids default print service (not cloud print)

Machines that I have tested that are discoverable are mx 2640 range, mx5140 range and the mx 3060 etc,

I have a customer who prints from chromebooks and the machines listed will print with zero config and will print with zero config from my android.

What is on these machines that make this possible? Im looking for a mono copier that will do this .
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

For chromebooks it is postscript not sure with androids as I have always used sharpdesk mobile to kind of print or done cloud printing for these devices. All advanced series come with postscript, essential series it is an option if you are looking for a mono MFP.

    Good luck.
