Hi all, I am having an issue with a MX2614 which intermittently keeps throwing up a U2-40 error, initially i reset it and all was ok for a couple of weeks then it returned, so I have upgraded the firmware to the latest level and it was ok for a month then came back in with a U2-40 error. I have now fitted a new SD card thinking that was the issue but it has failed again yesterday. The customer resets the code and it works fine again for a couple of weeks. ANyone had an issue like this?

was told by someone at sharp a few years back that quite a lot of u2 codes are power problems. Replacing the sd card is the route i'd have gone. Did you order one from sharp or copy one to a verbatim (or somebody else's) blank. None of my copied ones have failed yet. -

The sharp ones are crap. Order some from Amazon. Copy from a working sd card and load on new SD. SanDisk seem to work. Havent had one fail yet. From sharp they are expensive and always fail.Comment
