Anyone have a theory as to why on these machines that the 22-6 looks faint compared to other models? 50-10s are very light but copies and prints look good. Im stumped. Just want to see of anyone else has experienced this.

1) genuine toner/dev units?
2) pages on the machines?
3) PM's done properly and on time?
4) are machines clean?
5) post pics of the problem?
very lil info for us to make a diag! -
Re: 2310-3110 faint 22-6's and 50-10s
1) of course
2) 500k on black 80k on color
3) yes always.
4) Just rebuilt it myself. 4 oem drums and mk's. Im a 30 yr experienced tech that has done hundreds of PM's
5) seems all of these series do this. 50-10's are barely visible 22-6s are light too
6) 44-2, 50-22 44-27, 26 and 6 done 46-74 too.Are you the police? "No ma'am, were musicians"Comment

It might sound silly but check eco settings in key op mode to ensure toner save is not enabled. Also in sim 26. I had a MX5000 ages ago that printed a calibration sheet fine but then everything else was washed out, and this was the cause. Some idiot IT guy turned it on then logged a call due to feint prints but didn't mention that he had changed the settingComment

It was one of the 1st things I checked. Just seems this series does that..light 22-6's and 50-10's. Copies and prints are greatAre you the police? "No ma'am, were musicians"Comment
