    SHARP MX2614 - NO POWER!!

    Hi guys,

we have a sharp mx2614 at a customers which will not power on. The LED light that is next to the colour and BW buttons is flashing on/off.

we have cloned an SD card from a good working machine and replaced the card in the customers machine but still no power?

is it worth trying a new MFP board or power supply?

any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Probably dc power supply. Could be sd card but only had that like once. 20 something other times was dc power supply

        SHARP MX2610N
        SHARP MX3110N
        SHARP MX3610N
        SHARP MX3116N
        SHARP MX2615N
        SHARP MX3115N
        SHARP MX2616N
        SHARP MX2310U
You have listed that you have an MX-2614? I'm being switched from Sharp to another model line, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall Sharp producing a 2614? I am familiar with MX-2610, and 2615's?

fixed this issue many times....always dc power supply. there is an updated part which seems to fail much less. hytec is a cheaper option but you may get another old style unit.
