We had a customer request to have the front USB disabled on this machine for security purposes (the machine is located at a bank) but I can't find anything in the service manual about it. The only mention of enable/disable of USB that I could find, and that the Sharp Hotline also suggested, was SIM 26-50 which is for enabling the machine to be used as a USB printer. Is there a soft switch or dip switch, or is the only option to unplug the USB PBW?

System settings/common settings/device control/enable disable. Disable "scan to usb" and disable "print from usb" (2 separate check boxes). -
