I have this MX-3570 that has been in the field for almost 2 years and it started printing, copying and internal prints as just black lines. I have attached an image so you guys can see exactly what it looks like. Thanks in advanced for the help.

Re: MX-3570 Printing Bad Image
Exactly Michael!
64-01 tests are on the LSU controller, so if these appear OK, your LSU is going to be OK.
You need to test 64-05 which is the PCL test prints from the print controller, as you can adjust halftone, rendering intent, gamma and color profiles for various tests.Comment

Be extremely careful with that ribbon connector, it is very fragile..Last edited by doyvid; 03-31-2020, 01:19 AM.Comment

Re: MX-3570 Printing Bad Image
So I ordered the whole LSU Unit so it came with a new PWB. I just put it into the machine and got the same thing. The only thing I have not changed at this point is the PCU PWB. I guess that will be the next thing I try unless you guys have any other ideas. Thanks in advance for your ideas on this problem of mine.

Re: MX-3570 Printing Bad Image
Hi David,
3 weeks ago we mentioned that the problem would not be the LSU if the 64-01 tests were OK.
I mentioned that 64-05 tests were required to confirm the print controller (MFP Board) was OK. So far you haven't mentioned this being done.
There is almost no chance the problem is caused by the PCU board, so don't order that part. The image problem you have is digital, so its coming from a controller.
Test 64-05 and see if you have the same problem. This test comes from the MFP board. That is where your problem most likely is, as you've confirmed the LSU is OK with the internal LSU controller tests in 64-01.Comment
