Remove all the drivers from there.

When reinstalling be sure to select addition drivers for all the Windows versions that use the print server.Comment

Re: Printspooler hanging
Manually go into Win? spool directory and delete all the files in the spool directory.
Navigate to %SystemRoot%\System32\spool\PRINTERS, on most systems this will be the path here
C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
There might be a corrupt file(s) hanging the print driver.

Re: Printspooler hanging
Did forget to say this is a server with about 250 printer, so we hope that we just can replace the currupted files without delete the printers. And its verry manny computers that then installed.Comment

Re: Printspooler hanging
I assume they are using the WHQL certified versions of the phoenix drivers?
Are the Phoenix and Phoenix2 drivers set for driver isolation mode?
If not have them set them for isolation in the printer management right click menu.
If one version works switch all printers to that driver. Or search for a newer version of the driver that's crashing the spooler.
If both versions are crashing the spooler, update all the printers to the common driver (it is WHQL cert)Comment
