    Batch Printing

We have a MX-M950 that is used extensively with Document Filing. Recently the customer could no longer select the jobs from their folder to print them. The button is there, just doesn't do anything. The tech noticed immediately after reboot and before the machine become completely ready, he could select the documents to print them, but once it come ready, he could no longer select the documents. After many other fails attempts, he reseated the EEPROM and now he can select any document to be printed. But now Batch printing of documents doesn't work. It's grayed out. We also had this happen on our office asset equipment but never did bother with trying to figure it out. It's not a permission setting, I've gone over them many times and nothing is disabled.

Only thing that comes to mind is that your user names are corrupted or missing. Might try inputting new user names to see if this helps with your batch printing. Have had difficulties with this on this series.

    Good luck.

Well, come to find out everything was working fine. The tech didn't understand how to batch print on the older models. You have to select "All Users" in order for it to batch print files. The newer models will allow you to select multiple files and print them but this is not "Batch" printing, that's another function. It's overly confusing for something so simple.
