I have a MX-FN14 that will run paper all day long, until it is told to offset. The first set comes out fine regardless of quantity, then the first page of the next set crashes into the exit roller assy. Doesn't matter if we staple or just offset. I moved the finisher to another machine and the same issue. I have tested all components in SIM 3-2 and 3-3 and cannot find any operational problems. Has anyone had this issue or know of the source of my pain?

Re: MX-FN14 won't shift
Update to my troubleshooting, if I take one original and make 20 copies offset it works perfectly. If I take 2 or more originals and try to make 2 sets offset it crashes every time. Only 8.5x11, all other paper sizes work normally??? -
Re: MX-FN14 won't shift
I have had an issue with the front side gate sticking so it does not go down fast enough when doing offset. Has a foam rubber pad to reduce noise and after time this will start breaking down and getting mushy. Remove the pad and it works perfectly.
Good luck.
