    PG-ARP350 Auto exposure

On this Sharp copier the auto exposure is too dark but it can be toned down in manual. The default goes badk to auto in text mode. Is there a way to set the default to manual in text mode? Why would it be darker in auto exposure mode?

Within system settings - key op program - copier settings - initial status settings may be where you can change the default to manual exposure. As far as auto exposure being to dark - Maybe someone boosted up 46-2, which is where you would make adjustments for auto exposure.

is this a p350 or m350? a p350 is a printer, with no adf and scanner.

Or is it a p350 that someone has added a scanner to?

you can adjust the AE range in "initial settings", if you're unfamiliar with sharp SIM codes.
