    C4-25 on install

Hey all, I am installing a new MX-4051 and the machine goes into a C4-25 immediately. I pulled the primary transfer and PTC and inspected for any irregularities, checked bias roller position and 2nd transfer. I found nothing out of order. Has anybody got an idea of what josseled loose? It worked at setup and traveled less than 2 miles for install.

Let's look at the manual... hmm...

    Code: C4-25
    Description:
    High-voltage 1TC circuit trouble
    Causes:
    1) Pin getting away of a harness (1TC-ERR) and breaking (TC PWB Input connector CN1-2pin) 2) High-voltage error circuit (1TC-ERR) damage
    Remedy:
    1) Check connection of the harness.(1TC PWB Input connector CN1-2pin) Replace the harness. 2) Check disconnection of the high voltage TC PWB connector./Replace.

I don't know. Have you tried, pbbbbt, just a wild guess here.... a loose harness maybe?... specifically connected to... pbbbt, I don't know.... CN1 in the 1TC PWB?
Just a wild guess. I mean, maybe it moved during the transfer of the MFP?

    Good luck.

Well it turned out to be a crack in the TC1 PWB substrate that must have opened up one of the printed circuits during transport.
