Re: Sharp MX-6070 cyan vertical lines
Your next step is to make sure all your contact points are clean, if this does not help you are looking at a board problem, try to reconnect all the cables to the board first.Comment

Re: Sharp MX-6070 cyan vertical lines
Those lines are edge to edge so check the laser slit glass and shutter. Check the erase LED on the rear wall and the clear plastic insert that runs through the drum; could be a cleaning issue.
These faster models also tear up the drum / dv drive motor and scatter toner all over the charge boards on the rear wall. This can cause all kinds of colorful issues.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!Comment

Re: Sharp MX-6070 cyan vertical lines
Lines go front to rear not lead to trail, image now looks like what you get with dirty main charge, see exampleAttached FilesComment

Re: Sharp MX-6070 cyan vertical lines
You are losing Grid Bias.
Known issue on the MX6070, can be caused by problem color motor. It can interfere with HV.
Swap color motors to confirm if color lines change with the problem motor.Comment

Re: Sharp MX-6070 cyan vertical lines
As mentioned in the similar post here. Replace the, complete, MC electrode unit. It's a known issue, I've had to do a few.
Taking into consideration that I'm in Australia, my part numbers are:
MX-50/6070N - CHLDZ2541DS52
MX-50/6070V - CHLDZ2541DS54
MX-50/6071 - CHLDZ2541DS54
This is an issue that, from my understanding, is limited to the 50's and 60's.
