Sharp MX-M7050N Lower fuser web winding

been having an issue where the lower fuser web not winding. toner gets caked on the web and starts rubbing the press roller causing a loud noise. Have tested the motor in sims and adjusted in sim so the web should wind faster than factory default. Anyone else come across this and know of a fix?

I had a different model sharp doing the exact same thing. In our case it was the generic toner my company uses, that plus all the rest of the problems it causes. If you are using generic try oem.

Did you check to make sure the fuser pressure screws are backed out completely?

Don't think this has pressure screws?

Would be interested in seeing an answer to this myself

Yes, there are pressure screws. I've had this exact problem because someone didn't realize that they were there.

using oem toner and pressure springs released fully. Haven't heard back from the customer so going to assume i fixed the issue as the customer would defiantly call if it wasn't fixed. I found that a previous tech that rebuild the fuser used the wrong screw to put the webs fames back on the fusing unit. this caused movement in the web frame so that the gears where not always in contact with the drive gears. put the correct screws in and haven't heard back from customer. will update if problem returns in near future.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this issue? I have this problem occasionally after long runs with a certain customer on several machines.

We used to have these squealing issues on the color machines. We would adjust SIM 43-32 so that the web advanced more often.

They are also bad about throwing FK4 codes too early. We break off the sensor flag for the lower web.
