    Off Lease MX 3140N unable to access IP (System settings)

    We received an off lease MX-3140n and I am unable to access the ip adress on the copier as system settings is disabled. So far I tried;

    1) resetting dip switches on mfp
    2) 67-17
    3) hdd swap

    Thanks in advance

    Question: Did 24-30 work?

          No, when you did the dip switch, were you able to go to 24-30 to reset admin pass?

                When you say "disable" do you mean the icon is missing from the op panel ? You can add the icon back by customizing the home screen.
                As to the dip switch reset, remove the outer cover and the MFP board will have a metal cover over it. There will be a rectangular cutout in the cover; the dip switches are behind this cutout.

                  I have tried all the suggestions, thank you, reset dip switches, searched for its ip on the network, set home screen back to defaults, etc. I am going to swap out mfp pwb and see if that resolves the issue.

                    "searched for its ip on the network".....when you press settings.....on left of screen do you see an item labled "Status"?

                    Press it then select Network Status....scroll down in main window, approx one third of the way down you should see the machines IP address.

                    For example 192.168.168.40

                    From there set your PC to 192.168.168.50, then browse to 192.168.168.40/service_login.html

                      I'm going to do that, turns out the internet in the warehouse is not working properly, says there is connection, but when we tried to access other copiers webpages, it says it was unable to connect. I am hoping that by Monday the network in the warehouse it working, then I will try with advanced IP scanner and go from there. I will keep you posted on the results.

                        If machine is set to Static IP it won't matter. You need to go to Status...Network.... and look at the IP setting currently assigned to machine
