You can't trust the 22-6 especially on a used machine that comes in the door to be rebuilt. With that said, the reason I clean and scrub the roller is I noticed in the 365 series that on prints, the edges were lighter than the middle. When I went to change the DV I noticed the roller was very dark on the edges. I cleaned then up and put old DV back....VIOLA, great prints again. I should know if the DV unit fixes it shortly. It is supposed to be delivered this morning.

New DV unit is back ordered from Sharp......Hmmmmmmm...I wonder why?

Try running the laser power adjustments in SIM mode. I have seen this resolve similar issues.

I did to no avail. I also tried it with the new DV unit...NG...this is pissing me off now. Im wondering if its an MFP pwb. I have also just tried another machines functioning DV unit, drum unit and TC2 to no avail. Still the same quality.

          UPDATE...

I tried printing on another couple of machines in the office and they were all doing it...WTF? PAPER...yes paper. Staples sent some recycled garbage and we didnt notice it. You can actually see the screen door in the paper right out of the ream.. I tried printing with some nice 28lb Hammermill and VIOLA, nice prints. All this headache for days and its effn paper.

That's super weird to have spread across four machines like that. Do you have any of this model working correctly by chance? Or know someone that does? Maybe a configuration file or reset to factory settings could have an effect. I'm at a loss though, hopefully someone with more experience recognizes it. You said used, any chance they came from the same place with an environmental issue? Good luck man
Good call M94. Interesting thread, thanks to author for posting real solution.
Should remind again all of us how important media is!

              WOOO!

Yeah I think media is ingrained in me. My first month I watched a tech with an OKI machine torn down to nothing 4x over a week basically swapping everything with a spare we had... Boss was pretty annoyed that the whole problem had been high-gloss sheets slipping around during transfer...

Thanks @bigdaddyooo for posting the solution, such an important step in a forum that so many people neglect.
