does single sided printing work fine? When you replace the right door did you also replace the gear in the bottom right of the door or did you use the same one? What about the gear inside the MFP that turns that gear?

Honestly never tried it from tray 2

No just changed the door and refitted the gear, it all looked ok and the machine only has about 200k on it

I would try replacing that gear and maybe the other one too. I remember we were having a double sided printing issue some time ago and it was caused by that gear.

HI there, It seems it was that gear, the white one on the side door. I fitted another gear and it hasnt missed a beat. I have checked the old gear and cant for the life of me see anything really wrong with it, but the customer has just run a 3500 double sided print job and it has worked perfectly.
