    Refurbished Sharp's

I know this isn't really a technical question but has anyone ever heard of TonerFarm? AKA: tonerfarm.com They keep emailing me lists of very low metered used Sharp's and others. Never heard of them prior. Prices are good but all sales are as is no returns and by credit card only. Anybody? Should I run from them?

I haven't heard of them, looks like they are located in CA.

"As is" is very questionable. They could be freight damaged to begin with or damaged in transit to your location and you may end up with a brick. You have no recourse if prepaying with credit card as when it leaves there dock it is your machine. We have had several refurbs come in damaged and our suppliers stand behind them.

On the plus neither Firefox nor MalwareBytes AntiMalware block their as being currently infected with any malicious items.

        On the minus side;
        1. They are not a secure website,i.e. https://
        2. They are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/brea/profi...1126-100035717

I would say the minuses out weigh the plus side.

BBB ratings would eat a re-seller like this alive. Not to say you can't find a good deal but it's an ugly business.

I would be more concerned about the fact that they are not a secure website. Any credit card or bank information used to make a purchase will be visible to any and all hackers. That includes expiration date and CVV for credit cards and routing and account numbers for bank accounts.

Are you an end user or a reseller? If you're an end user, I would check out Ebay but make sure they have a high score and good feed back. I'd trust that before some company I never heard of.

If you're a reseller, there are numerous companies that sell lease returns with low meters and every other condition.

                  Hey guys,
Thanks for all the input. I think I need to pass. After doing additional research, it's looking like the owner of this company has multiple websites:
                  colortonerexpert.com
                  tonerfarm.com
                  tonerboss.com
                  graphictoners.com
                  officesupplies1.
And ten more that are unrelated to our industry. Not good...
