Custom paper types on Phoenix/Griffin

Does anybody know how to use the custom paper types you can create in the service_login?

I can't see them on the regular webpage once i've created them...

WOW! Just looked on the service side to see what you were talking about.

Never been there. A whole lot of stuff that could be very useful in the right hands, disastrous in others.


So I did the same.... created a paper type and am also at a loss as to using it after created.

I will keep playing, I mean testing.

Through web interface create paper type, name it, ex. TESTPAPER

Go to the actual panel, not through web interface.

Sys Settings>Common>Paper Settings>Paper Tray Settings

Click on Tray to be changed

Type: select paper TESTPAPER

Scroll down to Selection of Paper Settings

Here you will see the paper definition you created on the SERVICE side.

Go to the actual panel, not through web interface.

Sys Settings>Common>Paper Settings>Paper Tray Settings

Click on Tray to be changed

Type: select paper TESTPAPER

Scroll down to Selection of Paper Settings

Here you will see the paper definition you created on the SERVICE side.

Then you change the paper type on the machine itself?

No sorry for the confusion....

TESTPAPER is created on the ADMIN side.

So on the "SERVICE" side create paper definition. EX. PAPER1

Then create the TESTPAPER on the ADMIN side.

Now go to the actual panel, not through web interface.

Sys Settings>Common>Paper Settings>Paper Tray Settings

Click on Tray to be changed

Type: select paper TESTPAPER (created on ADMIN side)

Scroll down to Selection of Paper Settings

And now select PAPER1 (created on SERVICE SIDE)
