As far as I can tell this model is not air print capable so I am trying to set it up with sharpdesk mobile which it is capable of using. I cant get the app to find the printer. I phone and 465 are on the same network. The machine has a MX-FR44U security kit installed,dont know if that has anything to do with it. I did put in the latest firmware.I can access the machine webpage through I phone so both are on same network. Dont know why app cant find the machine.

You shouldnt have any problem getting a 465 to work on sharpdesk mobile. So far I have yet to come across any sharp that doesnt work with it (minus the new sharp branded lexmarks line that just came out). The main machine we use in the office here is a 565 and a older 503 and I use it all the time on there. Have you tried to put in the ip directly into mobile? also I have seen sometimes where if you have a HUB and a wireless network modem that the machine is plugged into the hub and it isnt configured right network search will not pick it up. Usually what I do to test network issues is I carry around a cheap 20 buck wireless router I plug machines into and then connect directly to.Comment

I just tried...sharpdesk mobile just found M565 and 5001....
Go to http://ip address of printer/security_port.html
Enable everything and try again. These are settings of machine I just connected to.....

I have a different 465 on the sharpdesk printer list so I know it should work with this model. I enabled everything in security and still no go. I have never had problem not finding the machine before.Comment

I think the problem might be something with our network at the shop. I plugged in a different machine that I had previously used with sharpdesk and I deleted it from the printer list in the app. The app could not refind it. So I dont think now that it is a machine problem it doesnt seem. Thanks for the help and suggestions.Comment

Problem was the app. I deleted it and reinstalled the app and it works. Lot of wasted time for a simple fix.Comment
