[Misc] Sharp MX-M365-565 charger grids dirty

Hi Everyone,
we are seeing more and more frequent lines from charger grids getting dirty. we are running OEM supplies, the machines are going 20k-40k and the grids need cleaned/replaced. Alot of paper dust in machines. we do the Maintenance when called for, not extending ,clicking lights..

is there a better way to clean grids than alcohol, are using foam Q-tips? does a good job but may come back in month..

copiers are running 8k-20k per month?

I have never had to replace the grids on those models. When I have the lines I run the corona cleaner back and forth a few times and that usually takes care of it. I show the customer so if they dont want to wait for service to come out they can do it themselves.

I always use water or foaming cleanser to clean charge areas, being careful not to get end blocks wet and making sure its dry before powering back up.

I remove the grid and run it under running water with soap. make you you get all lint and other fragments out and completely dry before reinstalling an powering on. For the sawtooth, i usually use canned air does the trick.

We had problems at a company that made drugs, what ever was in the air would get attracted to the main charge. Also any place that uses a laser to cut metal has problems too.
