    Sharp MX-6070v machine unable to print and photocopy

    I been facing a problem that my machine (MX-6070v) is unable to print and photocopy. My technician says that the machine looks like been lock up. There is no error code pop out and when I want to try photocopy some document, the machine laser does move and warming up. It also come out a notification at the machine every minute says that "could not access the accounting server. Contact your administrator." .So I hope that I provide understandable question and I need your help to solve the problem. Thank you

    You need to get into the external accounting settings and disable it.

      your laser moves on start up? do you mean the SCAN LAMP for the doc feeder? that is NOT the laser.

      Hire a TRAINED TECH because this is above your pay grade.

        Looks like the device cannot communicate with accounting server, if you have no active (PaperCut)server then disable it by logging into device & check off setting in Sharp OSA external accounting.

          Thanks for the information but I do not want to use the Sharp OSA system and I try disable it at the simulation (26-74).After that I restart the machine but the same message still pop out. I also cannot login the admin at machine and the website.

            You need a Sharp tech to contact Sharp with the serial number of your machine so Sharp can issue a password reset for your machine.

            Then you can follow the steps to disable the OSA function of the external accounting server.

              My guess is that your hdd has a problem. The user login/codes are stored on the hdd.
              I usually configure a default user in black/white that auto-log at boot so the client just have to entre a code for the color.

              Can't print, can't access the web page or service web page.

              If the machine can't access the hdd , you are locked out of the account.

              Change the hdd even if the read/write tests are good.

              Prepare the needed files (watermark & manual)
