    ARM237/ARFN5 Offset tray grinding.

When going through the start up process the offset tray will go down and just start grinding. When it is at the bottom. The sensors look ok and I swapped one out. I have gotten it to do it going up also. Any help would be appreciated.

Check to make sure the tray is level. You may have to adjust it. Does the tray hit the sensor and then start grinding? You may have a sorter Main PWB problem.

Have had the bushings pop out of their guides on the exit roller shaft for the offset tray. You will need to take off the rear panel to be able to remove the panel that covers these bushings! Makes a horrible grinding sound.

      Good luck.

I went back yesterday, and I believe it to be PWB problem. I am not getting any voltage.
