Sharp MX6071/MX3061

Hi guys,

we are going to be installing a couple of sharp MX6071/3061'S to a customer site that has potentially around x200 users that want to scan to email, they are going to be set up with Azure Universal Print, their IT is wanting to know if there is any easier way to set up the scan to email users rather than setting them up individually? can the sharp machines pull their required data from AD?

is there any other way or we going to have to bite the bullet and set them up individually?

These copiers support LDAP and AD, under System Settings > Network Settings.

You could also set up one manually, and do a Storage Backup to copy the address book between copiers.

Also, for larger businesses, it may be an opportunity for the sales to put forward something like PaperCut with its FollowMe scanning.

I believe you have two choices......

• Add Sharps to Active Directory https://equipmybiz.com/sharp/sharp-c...y-integration/
• Export from Active Directory https://www.google.com/search?client...tive+directory

If you export, simply reformat CSV file to import into the Sharp. Can be found under System Settings>>>System Control abx.jpg
