    Sharp MXC250F - E711 error

    Hi guys,

    we currently have a MXC250F with the error E7-11 relating to the CIS section,

    we have tried cleaning the mirror, lens and white reference plate, we did replace the CIS unit around a year ago and the machine hasn't had much use,

    could the CIS unit have gone bad again or possibly the MFP?

    any suggestions will be appreciated.

      Check connections to cis. Also i would try shading disable in sim 7-1 and then do a copy, if it comes out really bad i would guess its cis(ccd)
      Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

          Have you done SIM 63 to calibrate the white shading??
