    MX-4071 jams in fuser

I am having accordion jams in the fuser and it's mostly with documents with heavy graphics but to day it did it on normal page. I rebuilt the fuser a couple of months ago but now I am thinking that it might be the separator plate. Does anyone have the part number? I have the MX-4070 part number but can't confirm they are the same. This is the number I have CPLTM9079FC02. Also how do I adjust the void areas for lead edged. I tried to make it bigger with sim 50 but didn't have any luck. Sorry for the basic question but this is the only sharp I service.

They're probably the same, but the current revision has CPLTM9201DS51 listed.

Sim 50-1 is only for copying. Increase the B value

Sim 50-5 is for printing. Increase A

Definitely replace the separator plate. It's the same in the 70 series models and the 71 series. They get warped and allow the paper with heavy coverage to slip through and accordion inside. Also if you didn't replace the 2 small springs that put tension on the plate I would replace those too. Those are in the mx-602fb kit.

Do you have the part number for separation plate?

I provided it. Do you have access to manuals?

Well I took time to explain the simulations and looked up the part number for you. But you seem to be a "gimme gimme" poster without even a thank you.

Your right, thank you for taking the time. In the meantime I did make the adjustment for the side void. One side didn't have a void and I am waiting to see if that works before I did a follow up. I can't seem to find the service and parts manuals online.
