CA after dev adjustment is actually 'as per the service manual'.
Should be standard procedure. Shouldn't have anything to do with the problem on this post.
Better yet..... run 25-2 several times (usually 2 or 3), for a more reliable reading. Proven to work great for me.
MX Dev is awesome..... Love it. Extremely reliable stuff. Goes well in a Margarita, or washing down a 'snag 'n bread'.

Maybe a silly question.... but why are you offering color copiers not including toner in the monthly click charges?? You seem to be shooting yourself in the foot.
Bump up the charges, put this client on Toner Included. It'll pay for itself in no time.
Got over 1000 of the MX's over here.... Every single one of them is Including Toner in their contract. Clients want more toner.... let 'em have it mate.
Keep 'em happy and you will be happy.

How you go about doing such a contract change, I have no idea. Have a chat with your sales guys.

Other than that, I can totally agree with you, as I said in my earlier post here, the MX's are a toner hungry beast. Always put them on Including Toner.

Thats just my 2 cents. All the best mate.

We do include toners in all our contracts, that's a problem it seems, people are printing far to many full colour copies and the toners are not lasting anywhere near the they say they will. In NZ toners are fricken expensive!

Out of curiosity what do you pay for your mx toners? I understand if you do not want to disclose this information.

Sorry mate, cant say.... I'm not exactly in a position to tell you..... lets just leave it at that.

As I said earlier, maybe at the next anniversary of the machine being in the field, bump up the cents per click.

Good luck mate. Sorry I cant help you any further.

If your dev adjustment finishes at 128, there is nothing wrong with your dev or dev tank.
I've seen what you are talking about. A quick 44-06 and 44-26 will force process control & halftone adjustments back to a better grayscale.
Print 64-01, A=11, B&C=2, D=255 to give a print of 4 color bars. Perform adjustments listed above, restart machine, then print same 64-01 testpage. You should notice a distinct difference now.
Also, check system settings, copy density defaults have not been raised above the middle setting.
