BP70C55 waster toner not reaching yeild

We installed a new bp70c55 a few weeks ago. since install the machine has a total of 95K clicks on it. the machine is averaging about 20k before it asks for a new waste toner. according to manual the waste toner bottle yield is 50K. any ideas on what to check to make sure supplies are reaching appropriate yield?

How many toners has it consumed in 95K? Manufacturer's yields on toner & waste toner boxes is based on 5% image area - which is a tiny splash of color to go with a double-spaced page of text. It is more realistic to expect to achieve 50% of those yields for many operators of the machine - that gets you to 12K for color & 20K for black. The Sharp toners have a pre-mixed amount of developer in the toner to account for the developer normally lost during the printing process - their toner's not light weight. A rule of thumb is you'll need a waste toner box for every set of toners.

I find your statement to be right on the money, I just did some deliveries today, every toner set had 1 BP-HB700 with it.

We upgraded a client from a series of MX5070s to BP70C55s.

After a couple months we had their IT team speak to us in regards to swapping out Waste containers at a higher rate, investigated and found that on average we were swapping out waste containers between 20,000-23,000s pages.

Have noted similar usage amounts from all of our BP machines in the field. We consider this the expected yield from this series of machines.
