Hello, I am trying to darken the copies on my sharp MX-b402SC. I have to set it manually, but it does not stay on 5 where I need it for better copies. I tired to go into simulation mode. However,
I got in there and I couldn't figure it out. Can anyone help me with this??

I've changed the developer for this problem and it makes a huge difference. First though I would check the maintenance level for the consumables.

It's in system settings > copy settings > initial status settings

The side one scan glass is on the top side of the paper path, I have had to remove the glass and clean many of these to get the CQ back to acceptable.
