When the user attempts to print, here is what happens:
1) LCD lights.
2) Unit makes noise as if it's warming up.
3) 2-5 seconds.
4) LCD turns off and unit goes quiet.
5) About 10 seconds.
6) Machine comes out of sleep mode.
7) Document does not print, counter does not increment, and the document does not appear in the job history.
One workaround is to walk over to the machine, wake it up, then walk back to your desk and print your job, but the building is large, so they don't want to do that. They want to use sleep mode to save power, so disabling sleep mode is not really a solution.
This happens when printing from both Mac and PC.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
