    RB-25 paper pass unit harness

    Hello, we are wanting to install a external finisher on a MX 4071. It takes a RB 25n but we have a plain 25, wire harness different. I can not find the numbers for the harness adapters. I have ordered them before. Does anyone happen to know the part number? Also I am wondering if I can just order the 25n harness and put it on the 25 to make it work. Also I would get the middle harness that the finisher plugs into. On the inner finishers I have swapped the harness before and it works. The only difference was the connectors that plug into the copier. The units themselves are the same. I suspect the same on the RB 25 units.

      Try this, but good luck. I'm not sure it works that direction, you may only be able to put a New accessory on an old machine. https://service.sharpamericas.com/id...FP-TB-1906.PDF

          It works both ways. Only difference between the 2 units is the harness. Unfortunately I do not have the part #.

              Thanks, I ordered these, I also ordered the hookup harness from the 25N to put on our plain 25. We have a couple of the plain 25 units we want to use, pretty expensive to buy new one. I think with ordering this stuff I will make this work.

                  Good luck, we had a machine that was an original MX3070, and only non "N" accessories would go on it. It was quite irritating when sales kept trying to sell it with only new accessories. We had to find ones that would work with it and sell it as a whole unit that you couldn't add or remove accessories from. Why Sharp did that, idk, but whoever had that idea should have been fired.
