CAD Drawings printing light from PS driver but ok from PCL6

Hello, I have some CAD drawings printing light from the Post script driver but fine from PCL6. Customer has mostly MACs so most of it has to be printed in PS. They use adobe acrobat reader to print.
I've tried the "print as image" and it just makes it come out even lighter. Tested in other copiers and same result so it must be the driver.
When I load the driver on the Macs it is a PPD driver but I do not see an option for a PS driver. Is it the same thing? Any suggestions are appreciated!

    Print to PDF first.

PPD and Postscript are essentially the same thing. Yes, try print to PDF first, but there also are settings in "Advanced" for Advanced Print Setup, could change the "Treat grays as K-only grays" and "Preserve Black" options, as well as Print to File, to see it on screen before printing.
