    MXM283N Lines on copies (RSPF)

Currently struggling trying to remove a line from copies. I believe its a simple fix and I may be overthinking/overlooking it.

    Details:
-Direct prints are fine. They come out clean with no lines
-Making copies from the glass bed is fine, no lines.
-Making copies through the top feeder is when the lines appear (see attached)
-Quality of the line is intermittent, as sometimes its a clear line or at times its faded/barely noticeable.
-Cleaned the feeder glass (back and front)
-Cleaned the copy lamp (I doubt it was the cause but did so anyways)
    -Replaced the feeder glass
-Cleaned the plating directly above the glass feeder when closed.
-Applied liquid correction fluid certain parts of the plating
-The line appear on the same spot regardless if the document was scanned landscape or portrait through the feeder. (Note: This is what's throwing me off)

Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks -PW

Looks like the lead edge of the original. I'd also clean all feed rollers in the ADF.

      [Solved]

harps05 is correct, it was the lead edge of the original. I've adjusted the SPF in sim 50-06 and prints are coming out clean.

Thank you for the knowledge. -PW
