im4511 Paper Exit Reverse Unit part number

Hello, is this the correct part# CFRM-1020DS52 for a reverse unit for a Imagistics im4511? Or do those use part# CFRM-1020DS51.

    Thanks in advance.

I think that is the part # for the IM4510 (corresponding to AR-M450). CFRM-1020DS52 for the MX-M450/IM4511 is identical, except for the motor, which you can swap easily enough, and the motors never fail. Sharp calls that the Delivery Turnover Unit. Dealer cost was $123 - surprisingly people still selling them on eBay for maybe $100.

Just to clarify, if I get the CFRM-1020DS52, I don't have to swap the motor?

No, you don't have to, as far as I know - not 100% sure. But, if you did have to swap the motor, it only takes a few minutes, if that. We had several hundred of these type machines (mostly Sharp, a few Imagistics), and I have never seen a motor fail. As I recall, when these delivery units fail, you get jamming. But if you run the simulation, the motor rotates. It's not the motor, but the assembly itself that is worn out, or has a bad sensor. There were also these plastic rollers on shafts that used to have bronze bushings, but later were only plastic, and the all plastic ones would start squealing, and require disassembly and lubrication.

I ordered the delivery turn over unit, the DS52 one. The old unit is warped in the middle, getting jams when duplexing or outputting to the left tray, very common problem.
            Thank you for the info!
