    Offset Function not working MX3560v

    Bit of a strange one.

Had a customer report offset function not working.

On arrival function not selected. when turned on not working.

Tried in simulation 6-1 OSM motor doesn't move and OSM highlight turns off immediately.

Harness and connectors looked fine, all reseated. OSM motor changed, no difference. PCU PWB replaced. No change.

    Any ideas?

I think it can be turned off in the print driver also. This would not account for motor not working in sims though.

55-1 SW24 7 to use the copier without finisher or offset motor.
      Check if it's not activated.

Defo this, i had the same a few years back, swapped motors etc, turned out to be this!! and it was a new machine!!
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

Thanks for this info. We have a bunch of exit trays but no motors. Nice to be able to turn off the motor.

So the above mention switch was the problem. Thanks so much
