AR-FX13 problems.

Received the AR-FX13 fax expansion kit for the AR-208D and are having a problem. We did not receive installation instructions for the kit so we are hoping it is installed correctly. Here is the problem:

When sending an 8.5x11 fax using the ADF the machine appears to be sending a line which could be considered the bottom edge of the page being sent. This causes the receiving fax machine to auto reduce the entire page and print the line at the bottom. When using the glass, this does not occur. The line ONLY appears when using the ADF to send the fax. If you set the receiving fax machine's auto reduce off, it prints two pages with the 'line' on the top of the second page. Any settings/firmware updates that may take care of this?

ADF problem

Should be doing the same when you make a copy. Sounds like a Automatic document feeder problem.

There is a slight line showing on page when reducing copies as well. Its at about 96%.

original size sensors in the radf, it is sending image rotated...correct ! use test command for adjustment.

We were able to remove the line by reducing sim 46-12. After updating the firmware on the machine we had to reduce it again.
