    Sharp Mx-4070 main door not recognized open

    Sharp 4070 main door not recognized open. Have any of you wonderful gentlemen ever experienced is that the machine does not recognize that the door is open never had this happen to me looked for sensors and such could not find anything ribbon cable looks good. Any advice would be great looking forward to hearing from you guys.

    The DSW_F is the front door switch.

    It is a microswitch with an actuator on the front door.

    It can't get much simpler that that.

        Common for the N models to have a slightly bent switch activator over time, which causes the sensor to stay constantly activated even though the door is open.
        Door switch front and Door switch main side are the same part number, but have been updated to correct this problem. The smallest bend will cause this issue. Does not take much.
        You can do sensor tests in Simulation 30-1 for DSW-F and DSW-R, and also check harness CN20 on the PCU PWB as both door switches are on this harness.
